Mortgage FAQ Step 1: What is a mortgage? The general definition of the term 'mortgage' refers to: a legal document that pledges a property to the lender as a security for payment of a debt. Step 2: Who needs a mortgage? You, me, everyone! At some point just about ever home owner will need to either take out, or consider, a mortgage application. The articles in this website will help those who wish to research the value of a mortgage on their property. |
The Advanced Knowledge Database (AKD) was created to provide a research base for those interested in learning about the current stances of many aspects of the financial world. The section you are currently browsing relates to mortgages. The ADK is a collection of news items, information booklets, links, definitions, translations, articles, opinions, personal experiences, and documents, which are free to be printed, read, reproduced, and quoted. The database is currently in it's alpha stage, which will provide static material. A searchable database is currently being constructed, which will include a glossary, as well as a phrase builder. Currently available on this website is a group of sample data, which is intended as a test for search engine behavior, and may also be used as a point of interest for those researching financial topics such as 'mortgages'. The topics and text contained in this database have been spidered from the internet, and at this stage we are testing relevancy. The design of this website is intended to sample the readability of the test database, and all traffic to this site will be monitored and closely examined. The information we record from each browser is Country, path through the site, and number of visits. It is not possible for us to collect any personal information from people browsing this site, nor do we wish to do so. Also to be available in the AKD are the related topics of loans, credit cards, business finance, and stocks. The mortgage portion of the AKD is scheduled to be launched in October, 2004. LS Advice Group Members will be invited to test this database as it goes through the various stages of production. All visitors to this website are encouraged to visit at various times between now and October 2004. Please pass on this URL (http://mortgage.loansaver.org/)to any organisations who may be interested in assisting us with this project. The content on this website is owned by the respective owners and authors where noted. We endeavour to include author names, copyright notes, and other owner information for each item in the database, should it be available. All external links found on these pages are quality checked, in the case of advertising, by the advertiser, and in the case of our recommended links, by Loansaver.org ourselves. |
